  • Green Tea Extract: Has been used for thousands of years in Asia, both as a natural medicine and beverage for its health benefits and energy giving properties. Green tea is an antioxidant rich, potent extract used primarily for fighting free radicals. Studies have found it to be an excellent source of potent bioflavanoids, a rich compound that is high in polyphenols. The most important of the polyphenols isolated in green tea are catechins; these are strong antioxidants that are used in food production. Green tea also helps with thermogenesis and aids in the metabolism of fat.
  • Citrus Bioflavanoids: Are a category of plant pigments that are responsible for keeping fruits and vegetables vibrantly coloured. Bioflavanoids are a powerful antioxidant and continue vigorous activity once digested, for this reason they are thought to be a major beneficial component of plants and herbs in our diet. Bioflavanoids are one reason why multi-coloured salads, vegetables and fresh fruit are highly recommended for maintaining optimal health.
  • Cayenne Extract: This herb has become as hot in healing as it is on the tongue. Cayenne peppers have been used for centuries as a folk medicine for stimulating circulation, aiding digestion and relieving certain types of severe chronic pain (topically). Contemporary uses have placed cayenne extracts as thermogenic aids to help increase metabolism. It is said that cayenne extract can also help alleviate allergic symptoms like hay fever.
  • Kava: Kava kava (piper methysticum) is well known in many traditional cultures for its ability to help maintain a sense of emotional well being without effecting mental clarity. It has been used for centuries as a ceremonial intoxicant to help people relax and socialize. Kavalactones are particularly effective in reducing stress and controlling anxiety. It is said that kava promotes relaxation, balances mood and can help ease the symptoms of menopause.
  • Caffeine: Caffeine has very well known stimulant qualities and is reportedly the most widely consumed natural supplement in the world. Caffeine acts to increase mental alertness while providing additional energy for weight loss and exercise training. Caffeine is more than a stimulant as it goes deep into the muscles providing long lasting power while delaying the onset of muscle fatigue. Also great before a work out, caffeine helps fight fatigue and increases motivation. It is said that caffeine elevates metabolic rate, fights drowsiness and increases energy levels.
  • Amino Acids: Amino acids are the basic building blocks of protein. In the central nervous system amino acids act as neurotransmitters and precursors to neurotransmitters, used by the brain to send and receive messages. The blend of amino acids in Reds Ltd. products has been specifically selected for their ability to improve mental alertness, elevate mood and enhance clarity of thinking.
  • Vitamin C: Also known as ascorbic acid, vitamin C is a powerful and key nutritional antioxidant that is vital for the growth and maintenance of all body tissues. Perhaps one of the most well known functions of ascorbic acid is its ability to protect the body against free radical damage. Free radicals have the ability to chemically react with and damage many structures within the body, destroying cell membranes and damaging DNA strands. The strong antioxidant activity of ascorbic acid can also help protect from the damaging effects of air pollution and smoke.
  • Vitamin B1: Also known as Thiamin, B1 is a vitamin with a critical role in maintaining a healthy central nervous system. Vitamin B1 can dramatically improve mental functions by helping maintain a positive attitude and enhancing learning abilities. Inadequate levels of B1 can lead to eye weakness, mental confusion and loss of physical coordination. Thiamin also plays a key role in converting carbohydrates into energy and in maintaining good muscle tone of the digestive system and heart.
  • Vitamin B2: Also known as riboflavin, B2 is a crucial component in converting food into energy. Riboflavin is further needed to activate vitamin B6, and also helps to create niacin, which assists the adrenal gland. It is said that vitamin B2 increases energy levels, reduces chronic fatigue, improves concentration and elevates mood.
  • Vitamin B5: Also known as pantothenic acid, B5 is utilized in the release of energy as well as the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates. B5 plays an important role in the secretion of hormones such as cortisone. Cortisone is essential for the production of adrenalin and in supporting the adrenal gland. These hormones are beneficial in the maintenance of healthy skin, muscles and nerves. B5 also assists the metabolism and helps to fight allergies like hay fever.
  • Vitamin B6: Also known as pyridoxine, B6 is an essential vitamin to aid in the formation of healthy red blood cells and supports more vital bodily functions than any other vitamin. Along with many other responsibilities B6 is required for the production of serotonin, a brain neurotransmitter that controls mood, sleep patterns and appetite. Among its many benefits vitamin B6 is recognized for helping to maintain healthy immune system functions.
  • Inositol: Is a fundamental ingredient of all cell membranes and is necessary for the proper functioning of nerves, brain, and muscles throughout the body. Neurotransmitters such as serotonin in the brain depend on Inositol to function properly. Low levels of this nutrient may result in depression and some research has shown that increased levels of Inositol appear to be a promising treatment for depression. Inositol also acts as a membrane stabilizer.
